In 1961, at the age of four, my parents made a huge decision to invest in the State of Maryland and become small business owners. Today my family no longer owns the business; however, it is still in operation as a successful restaurant.

I understood from an early age the daily pressures that a small business owner faces in order to support their family and the responsibility that they feel for their employees and their families.

Throughout my entire childhood and into my adult years I learned very quickly the definition of sacrifice and hard work. Through life’s circumstances I, like so many of you, was forced to face many difficult challenges that have made me a stronger person today.

I have been married to James Reilly for more than 45 years and have one married daughter; Tiffany, and a son-in-law Michael, and one adorable grandson, Mason.

Most of my career has been in financial, banking, and as a small business owner/operator.

My greatest satisfaction has always come from helping others.

My service in community outreach and church ministries have been all-encompassing as a team youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, bible institute instructor, and church treasurer. I have also been very involved in preparing meals and supplying holiday toys for those less fortunate.

I have dedicated my life to family, faith, community, and hard work.

I represent the right mix of principles, knowledge, values, and experience to serve you and your family as Your Delegate and to get things done for you in the General Assembly.

Thus, I am honored to represent the citizens of Maryland’s Legislative District 35A, Cecil and Harford Counties, in the Maryland House of Delegates.

Thank you for allowing me to be your voice.

Teresa
